Bell Helmets Press Release:

Bell Helmets, an industry leader in helmet technology and innovation, and Pro Circuit Racing, the most winning team in supercross and motocross, today announced a partnership, in which Bell will be the official helmet for the 250 team.

“Bell has 60-years of experience innovating powersports and bicycle head protection, plus incredible resources from its sister companies Riddell and Giro, which has culminated into the revolutionary custom-fit technology and Moto-9 Flex,” said Mitch Payton, Pro Circuit Founder & Team Manager. “Our long-standing relationship with Bell, plus its major advancement in technology and safety gave us the ultimate confidence to re-align our riders with the leader in off-road helmets.”

The 250 team lineup of Adam Cianciarulo, Joey Savatgy, Chris Alldredge, Tyler Bowers and Arnaud Tonus will wear both Bell’s radically advanced Moto-9 Flex, and Custom-Fit Moto-9.

“We’re proud to align ourselves with Pro Circuit, a prestigious and successful team with a well respected history in the sport,” said Chris Sackett, Bell Helmets Vice President. “With the high level of competition and increased attention on safety, it’s essential that riders are wearing a helmet that offers the highest level of protection.”

Moto-9 Flex manages energy across a wide array of impact scenarios with its progressive layering system, which utilizes three densities of foam for low, mid, and high-speed impacts. The helmet also has a “slip zone” in the liner, which gives subtle movement between the layers designed to reduce rotation energy transfer from some angular impacts. Riders will also find comfort with the “Adaptive Fit” system, which uses a segmented EPO layer to conform to the rider’s head, plus the helmet incorporates a Velocity Flow Ventilation system, designed to give maximum ventilation and temperature control.

Custom-fit Moto-9s are engineered from a high-tech process of digital mapping, and the use of a proprietary 3D-imaging program, which measures the unique contour of a rider’s head. The process matches the interior of the helmet to the rider’s exact specifications, optimizing stability and increasing overall comfort.
