Crescent Suzuki Press Release:
The Crescent Suzuki official World Superbike Team is pleased to announce its renewed agreement with Title Partner Voltcom, as Alex Lowes and Randy de Puniet prepare to contest the 2015 eni FIM Superbike World Championship.
Building on the relationship developed over the past two years, Voltcom – the Welsh-based market-leaders in construction cabling, analysis-software development and industry-specific fleet hire – will continue to utilize its title-sponsorship of the Suzuki World Championship team to strengthen the Voltcom brand within the local and international spheres.
The 2015 Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R was revealed this morning, shortly before making its track debut with Lowes and de Puniet at the Phillip Island Circuit in Australia at 11:10hrs local time (00:10GMT) Monday 16th February, for the opening day of the official Championship pre-season tests.
Ed White – Director, Voltcom Group:
“Voltcom Group is delighted be Title Partner of the Crescent Suzuki WSBK team for a second season. Despite a variable first season, that at times demonstrated real potential, Voltcom are confident that the team will be pushing more consistently for honors in 2015. From a corporate perspective the World Superbike Championship is an ideal platform to assist Voltcom with the global promotion of our own brand – as providers of power infrastructure construction solutions we increasingly compete on a global basis, with a supply chain and customer base from the Americas to the Middle East.
“2015 will see Voltcom launch a Quality, Compliance and Assurance Software package – QCAS – that provides real time insights to compliance levels, validation of work progress and verification of asset quality. The profile of QCAS sits comfortably within the Voltcom Crescent Suzuki relationship, in that the team is meticulous in its own planning and is driving for continual improvement in performance, within a compliant framework. It’s going to be an exciting year and we look forward to working with the Crescent Suzuki team and to achieving success together.”
Paul Denning – Team Manager:
“We are delighted to extend the team’s agreement with Voltcom for the 2015 season and look forward to providing brand exposure and value for its business over the course of the year. We have invested heavily in the team’s structure and the GSX-R’s technical specification for the new season and, along with the support of Suzuki Japan, Suzuki Europe, Yoshimura and all our vitally important Partners, Voltcom’s Title Partner agreement is a significant step towards the team achieving our goals of increased performance and more consistently competitive results.”
