Ride For Kids Press Release:
Motorcyclists at the 22nd Puget Sound Ride for Kids raised more than $65,000 for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation on Sept. 7.
More than 200 riders attended the event in Carnation, Wash., to honor our local children with brain tumors. The Puget Sound Stars were Allison, Andrew, Claire, Olivia and Skyler.
“It has meant a lot to our family to have all the support of the foundation and Ride for Kids,” said Skyler’s mom, Margaret. “Skyler looks forward to this event every year not because he gets to ride, but because of the love and support of all you motorcyclists.”
Another special guest at the event was Greg Dedman, winner of the most recent Cycle World/Ride for Kids project bike drawing. He attended with his custom Honda CBR1000RR. Details of the next drawing bike will be announced soon.
Making life better for Ride for Kids Stars is the reason motorcyclists across the country ride for the PBTF, which funds medical research and family support programs to help eliminate the challenges of childhood brain tumors.
The event is still collecting donations online HERE. Fundraisers will receive incentive credit through Oct. 7.
