Wherever he goes and whatever he does, Travis Pastrana always manages to create some media buzz. In this case, he’s stirred up some media and actual audible buzz by not only choosing to race in Red Bull Straight Rhythm — his first pro motocross race since 2009 — but also opting to do it on a 500cc two-stroke.
The Open Class for Straight Rhythm is just that: open. So, why not run with as much power as possible? With no turns, Pastrana’s strategy with his Suzuki RM-Zilla was a threat this weekend, and in the video below, you can see that he still has plenty of Supercross bike skills.
